United Russia wants to put external management at big foreign firms
MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- The United Russia party has submitted a bill on external administration of assets of the foreign companies that leave the market and are of a significant importance for the stability of economy and the protection of citizen rights, according to the text published on the State Duma website on Tuesday.
The external administration may be introduced upon a court decision.
The regulation may target companies, where over 25% are owned by foreigners, of a significant importance for the economy, supplies and people’s wellbeing for the entire country or a region. The external administration can be introduced for 18 months with a possibility of an 18-month rollover.
